Mijn vader was altviolist in de opera van Gent

My father was a viola-player in the ghent opera

 

Mijn grootvader speelde fagot in de Berliner Philharmoniker,

My grandfather was playing bassoon with the Berliner Philharmoniker

Mijn overgrootvader was klarinettist in het Gewandhaus Leipzig,

My great-grandfather was the main clarinet-player with the Gewandhaus Leipzig

En mijn bed-overgrootvader was hoornist in het  Státní Opera Praha.

And my Great-great grandfather was the French hornplayer with the Státní Opera in Prague

Mijn familie heeft bijna 300 jaar traditie muzikanten, vaders op kinderen ...
